They also contain blood-vessel-friendly nitric oxide which helps to relax and dilate your blood vessels. It also vastly improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>While we could just dye our oatmeal bake with beet powder, I prefer to use whole beets here as I like to bake a whole batch and use them for different recipes.<\/p>\n<p>And on to the oatmeal &#8211; I mean, I really cannot stress the benefits of starting your day with oatmeal &#8211; be it in overnight oats or porridge!<\/p>\n<p>I also add a pinch of Cinnamon, which is not just a flavor enhancer but also a natural blood sugar regulator.
