The recipe is an old German Family recipe and we usually make these brioche buns with chocolate chips. After kneading, you can let the brioche dough chill in the fridge overnight and shape the buns the next day. I let the dough warm up for about 20 minutes before shaping. The berries should easily pop off the stem and drop into the bowl below.<\/li>\n<li>Both red and black currants&nbsp;<b>freeze well<\/b>; just make sure to remove most of the stems and fill the berries into freezer bags. If you haven&#8217;t washed the berries, they won&#8217;t stick together, and then you&nbsp;<b>can<\/b>&nbsp;just take out as much as you want at a time.
