I am fully willing to say goodbye to summer for a bit, here.<\/p>\n<p>Last Sunday, I could actually even convince my husband to take a long, scenic walk along the South Saskatchewan River with me and it was magical!<\/p>\n<p>He also got to watch me\u00a0eat a crabapple, which reconfirmed his theory that my love for sour fruits is not quite normal. That day we got home, craving something comforting and vegetable-driven. We are using primarily za\u2019atar to flavor the veggie mix. Don&#8217;t panic if you have never heard of it. We will sort this out right away.<\/p>\n<h3>What is Za&#8217;atar?<\/h3>\n<p>This Middle Eastern blend of thyme, oregano, marjoram, sesame seeds, sumac, and salt is indeed a great addition to your pantry.<\/p>\n<p>You will find it in the spice department of bigger grocery stores,\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B002SRUYKO\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B002SRUYKO&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=cinncori04-20&amp;linkId=814a2ad7701bd09639f7696a080c4e4e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=cinncori04-20&amp;l=am2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B002SRUYKO\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/>, or you can simply make your own blend following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thekitchn.com\/inside-the-spice-cabinet-zaatar-seasoning-blend-82566\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this recipe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0use it to marinate tofu or for my <a href=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/brotschnecken-mit-paprika-knoblauch-und-zaatar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Za&#8217;atar Bread Rolls<\/a>.
