More specifically that delicious dairy-free coconut milk ice cream, which they serve to you in a coconut shell, sprinkled with chopped peanuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peanuts and coconut go incredibly well together, especially in Thai ice cream! I love <a href=\"\/\/www.amazon.ca\/gp\/product\/1579654363\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=15121&amp;creative=330641&amp;creativeASIN=1579654363&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=cinncori-20&amp;linkId=9bd54e13a22b253ed5c49d9811c7a78e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jenis Ice Cream Base<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"\/\/ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=cinncori-20&amp;l=am2&amp;o=15&amp;a=1579654363\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0and have used it in all of my favourite Ice Cream recipes, like my <a href=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/himmlisches-rhabarber-eis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rhubarb Ice Cream<\/a> or my <a href=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/brandy-cherry-ice-cream-with-goat-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brandy Cherry Goat Cheese Ice Cream<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I did change her Thai Ice Cream recipe to create a <strong>dairy-free version of Jeni&#8217;s Bangkok Peanut Ice Cream.<\/strong> Instead of her mix of milk and coconut milk, I went full-on coconut milk and used dairy-free cream cheese instead of regular cream cheese.<\/p>\n<p>To add a bit of crunch to my Thai Peanut Ice Cream, I sprinkled some chopped caramelized peanuts and some candied ginger into the soft churned peanut ice cream.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/thai-erdnuss-eis-karamell-ingwer\/thai-peanut-ice-cream-jeni-britton-bauer\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5804\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"563\" height=\"1000\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5804 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/thai-peanut-ice-cream-jeni-britton-bauer.jpg\" alt=\"Jeni Britton Bauer Thai Peanut Ice Cream with Caramelized Peanuts and Candied Ginger being scooped into a small blue bowl\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/thai-peanut-ice-cream-jeni-britton-bauer.jpg 563w, https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/thai-peanut-ice-cream-jeni-britton-bauer-84x150.jpg 84w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 563px) 100vw, 563px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I love that the <strong>dairy-free ice cream base itself is so well balanced. You taste the coconut and you get a slight peanut flavour as well,<\/strong> but none of these two flavours dominates the other!
