Not too many toppings, whipped cream and what not. But with this particular tart, it&#8217;s different.<\/p>\n<p>The no-bake white chocolate cream cheese filling is so smooth and light, that a little gooey and sweet maple caramel sauce seems like the perfect addition to take this tart from a great dessert to an absolute showstopper.<\/p>\n<h2>How to make No Bake Cheesecake Tart&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>For this maple syrup caramel cheesecake tart, I opted for my mother-in-law&#8217;s genius shortcrust pastry recipe.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s basically a cookie dough and tastes divine on its own. Especially when adding a tsp of maple extract to it.<\/p>\n<p>I love this shortcrust recipe for two reasons. The first being, that it is easy to make. No ice-cold butter, no food processor, no crumbly mess all over my kitchen counter.<\/p>\n<p>The second reason is, that it actually doesn&#8217;t shrink while baking. Hands down the best and most fool-proof shortcrust pastry I have ever made.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to go full-on no-bake with this recipe, you can also go with a graham cracker crust.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5676\" title=\"no bake cheesecake tart\" src=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/karamell-cheesecake-tart-ohne-backen.jpg\" alt=\"no bake salted maple caramel cheesecake tart sliced to reveal caramel filling\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/karamell-cheesecake-tart-ohne-backen.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cinnamonandcoriander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/karamell-cheesecake-tart-ohne-backen-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>How to make Salted Maple Caramel Sauce:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p>The Salted Maple Caramel, which I adapted from the <a href=\"https:\/\/bromabakery.com\/2016\/08\/salted-maple-caramel-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Broma Bakery&#8217;s Recipe<\/a>&nbsp;, is something that can be prepared in advance.<\/p>\n<p>You do not have by melting sugar in a pan, which is the part where most caramel sauce recipes start to go wrong.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the maple syrup caramel sauce, we mix sugar and maple syrup and then add cream and butter. Really, a pretty fool-proof affair.<\/p>\n<h3>Tips for success when making tart:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you store your maple caramel in the fridge, just make sure you let it come to room temperature before using it.<\/li>\n<li>I like to double the recipe to have some leftovers caramel for the rest of the week. However, I warn you, getting used to a drizzle of Salted Maple Caramel on ice cream or pancakes is a really dangerous thing.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>You can make the cheesecake tart in advance and store it in the fridge.
