Essen im Freien &#8211; gibt es etwas Besseres? Und in vergn\u00fcgter Gesellschaft schmeckts gleich noch mal so gut. Wird man bei uns in Kanada zu einer Grillparty eingeladen hei\u00dft das meist eines: Burger! Meist gibt es nat\u00fcrlich den Klassiker BLT mit Rindfleisch, oder einen z\u00fcnftigen Cheeseburger. Im Zuge der Streetfood Revolution finden aber immer mehr spannende Burgerkreationen ihren Weg auf unsere Speisekarten und auch in die heimatliche K\u00fcche.<\/p>\n<p>Heute pr\u00e4sentiere ich euch eine besonders ausgefallene vegetarische Burger Kreation, welche besonders bei Fans der indischen K\u00fcche ankommen d\u00fcrfte! Es gefiel mir n\u00e4mlich, in das Burger Br\u00f6tchen statt Beef Patty und Scheibletten K\u00e4se einfach mal ein paar meiner liebsten indischen Snacks zu packen ! Paneer K\u00e4se findet ihr in jedem gr\u00f6\u00dferen Supermarkt. Wenn alle Stricke reissen, kann man auf Halloumi zur\u00fcckgreifen.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr Knusper und reichlich Umami sorgt in unserem indischen Veggie Burger ein riesen Zwiebel Bhaji! Ohja, die leckeren kleinen indischen Zwiebelfritter aus der Vorspeisenkarte! Nur in gro\u00df!<\/p>\n<p>Dass auch eine Portion Mango Chutney bei einem indischen Burger nicht fehlen darf, versteht sich wohl von selbst. Das Salatblattes weicht in diesem Falle optimalerweise einem Bett aus frischem Koriander und Minze. Die Zwiebel sch\u00e4len, halbieren und in Scheiben schneiden. Currybl\u00e4tter in feine Streifen schneiden. Die H\u00e4lfte des Korianders fein hacken. In der Sch\u00fcssel Kichererbsenmehl, Reismehl, \u00bd Tl Backpulver, restliches Chilipulver, 1 Tl Kreuzk\u00fcmmel, Kurkuma, 1\/2 Tl Koriander, Schwarzk\u00fcmmel und 1 Tl Salz vermischen. 50 ml Wasser zugeben und alles gut mit dem Schneebesen verr\u00fchren. Nun bei Bedarf noch mehr Wasser zugeben, bis ein sehr dicker Teig entsteht. Zwiebelscheiben, gehackter Koriander und Currybl\u00e4tter hinzugeben und alles gut vermischen. Um ohne Thermometer herauszufinden, ob das \u00d6l hei\u00df genug ist, einfach nur den Holzstiel eines Kochl\u00f6ffels in das fl\u00fcssige Fett halten. Die richtige Temperatur ist erreicht, wenn sich um das Holz herum kleine Bl\u00e4schen bilden und nach oben steigen. Nun aus jeweils einer kleinen Handvoll Bhaji Teig 2 flache Frikadellen formen und diese mit einer Schaumkelle ins hei\u00dfe \u00d6l gleiten lassen. Die  Bhajis ca. 2 bis 3 Minuten frittieren, bis sie von allen Seiten sch\u00f6n gebr\u00e4unt sind. Aus dem \u00d6l nehmen und auf den bereitgestellten Teller geben.
